Pottery Paint Night - Christmas Tree

Create a beautiful Doodle Dots Platter in one night!  For ages 15 and up.  All materials will be supplied, including the platter, stencil, glazes to paint with and the instructor will fire the pieces in the kiln after class.  Your piece can be picked up 1 week later. 

$15 Material Fee paid to instructor at class.

Preserving the Harvest

Ever wonder how to preserve all those great garden vegetables?  This hands-on food preservation workshop will teach you the basic steps for canning and freezing.  Participants will receive a "Preserving the Harvest" food preservation packet, and will learn recommended methods for preserving foods, the latest and safest recipies, about equipment to insure safety and how to check properly sealed jars.  Please bring a potholder with you to the workshop.

Or...how to have more fun than having Whoopie Pies and Moxie for breakfast!  If you have never picked up a Uke, no-problemo!  We'll learn just enough of the fundamentals to start playing simple songs right away.  The focus of the class is to have fun, make new friends, build confidence and develop enough portable skills to enable the Uke to be your longtime pal.  We will provide you with simple instructional materials for class, and links to access virtually limitless royalty-free resources on the web.  If you have a Uke and tuner already...bring them!  Baritones OK, but please let us know when you sign up!

Uke-less? We have a limited number of loaners available.  Give us a call after your register to reserve yours - register early, so you don't miss out!
