Register ONLINE at!  (Please do not use the mail in registration button, registration is online only through A-LDRE.)   Student’s must be 15 years old and bring birth certificate to the first day of class.

Classes held at Leavitt Area High School from 2:15pm-4:45pm

Firearm Hunter Safety Education Skills & Exam Day

Calendar Dec 9, 2017 at 9 am, runs for 1 week

This class requires that students complete the knowledge portion of the safety course online and also attend a face to face skills and exam day which is about 7 hours. Students complete quizzes as they work through the online course and upon successful completion are provided with a voucher number required to attend the skills and exam day. During the face to face skills and exam session students must demonstrate that they can safely handle a firearm, participate in safe hunting activities, bring in survival kit with appropriate contents and pass a 50 question test with a grade of at least 70%.

Holiday Collage Glass Ornament

Calendar Dec 7, 2017 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

Make your own meaningful Holiday mini-collages using paper, text, photos and other ephemera. Collage techniques include color washing, glazing, and applying pigment powders. After completing your two-sided collage, you will place it between glass and finish with a unique, solderless metal frame to achieve a polished look. This technique can be used to create ornaments or embellishments for jewelry design. NOTE: If using your own images, ONLY laser copies will work in these collages. Size of charm is 1”x 3”. Workshop includes all materials to make 3 two-sided ornaments.

Holiday Gift Basket

Have a homemade holiday!  You will be making up to 4 items to put in a gift basket for someone special, including a "headache" pillow, lip balm, felted soap and hand lotion.  So nice, you may just want to keep them all for yourself!

Please bring a small basket to put your items in.  The instructor will supply the matierals to make all the "gifts".

Material fee of $15 paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of class.
