This 180 hour Certified Nursing Assistant Course is designed to provide you with the skills and experience to be Maine State Certified. Candidates must be dedicated, hard working, reliable and compassionate with an interest in a health care field. This course offers both nursing home and hospital clinical experience.

Prerequisite: HS diploma or GED/HiSET. Also the student must produce documentation of a recent medical physical examination as well as the following vaccinations: Help B, MMR, Tetanus, Chicken Pox, and TB.

Course Fee: $975.00 plus Lab Fee: $25.00 (*** Includes textbook, state exam and CPR certification ***)

Microsoft Basics

An introduction to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Students will become familiar with Word to write and edit documents, create a spreadsheet in Excel and personalize a presentation with PowerPoint.  A great class for those just learning!

MSAD 52 Substitute Training

Learn about MSAD 52 school expectations, teacher’s lesson plans and assertive discipline.  This course is one step in the substitute teacher application process for the District.  A high school diploma is required, college degree preferred.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED – call 225-1010.
