Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED NOV 18

This course is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. A video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency services arrive.

This course uses AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the learning of skills. Students receive a course completion card, valid for two years! Pick the date that works for you when you register.

ALL DATES: SEPT 16 • OCT 28 • NOV 18 • DEC 9 • JAN 6 • 3-8:30pm/$102 per class

Do you wish you could learn to play an instrument? Here’s your chance! Come join this beginners’ class and share in the joy. Learn basic chord positions, strumming techniques and picking foundations.You must have a playable ukulele and an electronic tuner or tuning app. If you don’t have a uke, let us know when you register, we are happy to provide information on where to buy one. I haven’t purchased a regular loaf of bread since 2014 and I’d love to teach you some of the tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way. Recipe adaptations, measuring techniques, DIY kits and baking in the oven will all be included.

Behavioral Health Professional Training BHP DEC 12

Our community is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in a child’s life.

A Certified Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) makes an impact on a child while helping them learn to grow and develop. This BLENDED training program (online modules and a live, instructor-led, virtual session) will equip you with ways to help children who are in need of services and will also prepare you for employment through local social services agencies.

Work at your own pace completing 12 online modules prior to attending the live sessions, including the new ethics and boundaries training. Once the modules and live sessions are completed, you will receive links to bloodborne pathogen training and Child and Adult First Aid & CPR training. The entire program requirements will take about 45 hours to complete. Individuals must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent to register.

MSAD 52 & Woodfords are partnering to offer this course.
