You will learn to safely identify common medicinal plants in your yard and how to harvest them. Then with a few more steps learn how to make teas, salves, syrups and tinctures.
Bring a notebook, pencil, and camera. Be prepared to go outside.

Leavitt GIRLS Summer Soccer

Girls entering grades 9 through 12 will get a head start on the fall high school season by participating in the Leavitt Girls' Summer Soccer program. Using practices and games, you will get to work with your coaches on the skills and strategies we will use in the fall.
Players will need shin guards and a water bottle.

Tripp & Leavitt Summer Football

This for players intending to play football at Tripp or Leavitt in the fall. It will be run by the Leavitt Football staff.
There are weightroom hours for grades 9-12 There are practices for grades 7/8 and 9-12 There are 7v7 events for grades 9-12 both home and away.
Complete schedules with 7v7 games, weightroom hours & practices are available from Coach Hathaway.
Practices for Tripp (Grades 7/8) are July 11, 18, 23, 25, 29, 30, 31 and August 1 at 530pm.
Practices for Leavitt (Grades 9/12) are June 18, 20, 25, 27; July 11, 18, 25, 29, 30, 31, Aug. 1
7v7 games are June 21, 23, 28 and July 12.
AM weightroom hours are Mon-Thurs 7:45-9
PM weightroom hours are m/w 4:45-6pm & t/th 345-5 oline on field workkouts on m/w after the lift at 6pm.

Leavitt High School BOYS Summer Soccer

Come have fun this summer playing soccer and improving your skills for the upcoming fall season. We will play local teams on Tuesday evening and the second day will entail playing a fun and new exciting game of Omegaball.
Teams will be organized and tournament style play will occur throughout the summer to work on passing, touches on the ball and communication skills amongst your teammates.
Our days of play will be Tuesday/ Thursday evenings starting on June 18th. Summer is a time for family vacations also so we understand you might need to miss some time. Please just give coaches a heads up of your plans.

Tripp & Leavitt Summer Basketball

This is the SUMMER basketball program for grades 7-12 run by the Leavitt Basketball staff. We will use the high school gymnasiums and work on skills and drills.
Practice schedules for JV & Varsity are available from Coach Hathaway.
There will be practices and games for both teams. Games are M/W with some home and some away.
Grade 7+8 practices are: June 19-21 (w-f) at 8-930am and June 24, 26, 28 (m/w/f) at 930-11am.
Some 8th graders might be asked to practice or play with the JV team depending on ability.

Hornet Pride YOUTH Basketball Camp

This camp is for boys entering GRADES 4-6.
The focus will be on developing fundamental skills and having fun while learning the game from the LAHS Basketball coaching staff and players.

Digital Photo 1 Beginners ONLINE

This is a 5 Week Series covering multiple subjects with assignments and sharing the student’s work. Are you still getting to know your digital camera and its features?
Here’s an opportunity to learn from an expert in this seminar for beginners! Have your camera ready and learn when and how to use its special features - such as program mode, manual mode, aperture priority and shutter priority.
Also covered will be basic composition and best use of light for different situations, such as plant, people, macro, and landscape photography.
